Greetings:

The National Online Music Alliance has added Time & Strike, an independent
record label that specializes in acoustic blues, gospel blues and other
roots music. The label features several artists on its roster and has
several sampler CDs available. The artists are:

MICHAEL HAKANSON-STACY, the label's founder, records his own rootsy
acoustic blues, old gospel songs and guitar instrumentals. He has a
particular love for resonator guitars and bottleneck blues.

CREIGHTON LINDSAY performs everything from newgrass to classic jazz to
French Canadian fiddle tunes. He lives in the Northwest where he plays the
contradance, Cajun/zydeco and blues circuits. "Like Ry Cooder or David
Lindley, Creighton Lindsay has crafted an enjoyable lesson in musical
history." (Maine Sunday Telegram)

LARRY & PEARL BRICK's new CD, "Talk About Suffering," is available on Time
& Strike. This is Appalachian gospel at its finest -- "Gillian Welch meets
The Doc Watson Family." Cuts on the CD include "The Water is Wide" and
"Softly and Tenderly," among others.

REV. DAN SMITH sang and played harmonica during his youth but didn't record
his music until much later. His last album before his death, "Live At Fox
Hollow," is available on NOMA. According to Blueswire, "His jubilant
singing and countrified harmonica playing bring urgent handclapping fun to
this rousing set of sanctified blues." The label is working to make more of
his music available.
