Somehow I don't feel quite as bad adding to the bandwidth if I
combine 2 topics 8-).
My favorite contemporary cover of "The Water Is Wide" is by Steve
Goodman on one of his first 2 Red Pajamas albums--I >think< it was ARTISTIC
HAIR.
And one more angel song hasn't been recorded as of yet, but was
written by Chris Stuart, and it's called "Angels in Mineral Springs." It's
a wonderfully distinctive tune about bus drivers and tourist traps and
everyday angelhood. I play with him in the group Cornerstone, and we've
been performing it over the past year.
