I'm writing as an amazing act of generosity. Well, ok, it's also an amazing
act of desperation, but hey, it's still a pretty good deal.
I've received a number of kind offers to help with my photo exhibit at summer
festivals. I've also received several inquiries about doing photo shoots at
Falcon Ridge. But, alas, no one seems to be available this weekend for
Clearwater's Revival, on New York's beautiful Hudson River. So here's the
deal:
Please help watch my exhibit for part of the weekend. Enjoy the music for
part of the weekend. And somewhere in there we will find time to do a photo
shoot as a gift from me to you. You pay for film, I provide the shoot and
reproduction rights for promotion. For those performers among you, I
sometimes charge as much as $1,200 for a promo shoot. For the rest of you, it
would make a heck of a nice Father's Day present.
All of you should note that this is one of the most pleasant festivals around.
Besides being graced by Pete Seeger's omnipresence, you will have a chance to
hear Judy Collins, Odetta, the Paul Winter Consort, David Amram, the Nields,
and lots of great ethnic musicians. I highly recommend it.
