Six Award Winners will be selected by Judges Steve Fromholz and Betty
Elders of Austin, Tx. and 1997 New Folk Award Winner Keith Greeninger of
Aptos, Ca. to appear at the AWARD WINNERS CONCERT at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May
31, where they may pick up their $250 expense (Award) money for appearing.
$150 of this award comes from the ASCAP and Townsend Miller Endowment Fund,
and an additional $100 from the Mary Jane Tellez Memorial Fund donated by
Joel Leonard of Alexandria, Va.
In addition, we have selected ten regional performers to appear at the
BALLAD TREE.
