Songshops Coop of New England is a new organization for songwriters dedicated
to developing and sponsoring high quality songwriting workshops, retreats,
song camps, co-writing and networking opportunities to New England
songwriters.

Songwriters
Workshop (BSW) is organizing the Songshops Coop. Over the last 3 years she has
organized workshops with Ralph Murphy, Director of Creative Services ASCAP,
Nashville, Clyde Brooks, Publisher/Producer/Musician, Phil Galdston, Grammy
Award Winning Hit Songwriter/Producer, NY, Kim Copeland and Susan Tucker (Soul
of a Writer), Jason Blume, Hit Writer and Teacher, Nashville, Fred Koller, Hit
Writer, Nashville, & Jack Perricone, Head of the Songwriting Department,
Berklee School of Music. Pat Pattison, Author (Writing Better Lyrics) &
Berklee Professor, & Jimmy Kachulis, Professor of Composition, Berklee School
of Music.
Songshops Coop of New England is planning to sponsor a late
summer/early fall
song camp and will need the help of all interested New England songwriters to
help bring the best teachers possible to New England. On Sunday we will
discuss potential dates, presenters and programming for SongCamp. Your input
is needed to make this songcamp even better than last yearís event.
In addition, we will spend some time writing, using Pat Pattisonís
Object
writing techniques. As always cowriting opportunities will be encouraged.
Bring pen, paper, musical instruments and creative spirit.
Bring a brunch item to share. Coffee, tea and soft drinks provided.
