This section of "folkmusic.org" lets you know about some of the discussion lists on the Internet of interest to the folk and acoustic music communities.
    At the present time, it is an informational resource. We're working on the capability to allow you to sign up or sign off of these discussion lists from this page.

List traffic consists of discussion, reviews, album release info and other information on artists like Shawn Colvin, Mary Chapin Carpenter, David Wilcox, Nanci Griffith, Christine Lavin, The Bixbys, Dee Carstensen, Dar Williams, Cosy Sheridan, Hamell On Trial, Susan Werner, Dave Nachmanoff, Buddy Mondlock, and others of their ilk.

FolkDJ-L is a list for folk Deejays. Items discussed include playlists, album service, general radio talk and generally anuthing of interest to the folk broadcaster.

FolkVenu@lists.psu.edu

FolkVenu is a discussion list for venue operators, talent bookers, house concert presenters, and others interested in presenting live music. Some artists and agents are also members and the list is sometimes used to fill routing holes in artist calendars. This list is not an appropriate place to post general gig announcements and artist calendars. It is intended for discussion, not as a general promotion vehicle.
